The life path number in Western numerology One number from your full birth date
How this site treats the life path number: the possible results, the three master numbers, numbers from an English name and how it differs from Thaksa.
What a life path number is
The life path number is the core number of Western numerology. It comes from your full date of birth: the day, the month and the year in the common calendar. The result is a number from 1 to 9, or one of the master numbers 11, 22 and 33, each with a meaning of its own.
Each number has its own meaning in Western numerology. The meaning pages of the numerology tool describe each number in full.

Numbers from an English name
The numerology tool also gives three numbers from a name written in English letters: one from all the letters, one from the vowels only and one from the consonants only. The same name spelled in two ways can give different numbers, so enter the spelling you use in daily life.
Besides the name numbers, the tool shows a personal year number. The life path number comes from your birth date and stays the same, while the personal year number changes every year and is read as a picture of that year only.
How it differs from Thaksa
Thaksa and Thai numerology tie a person to the day of the week and to eight planets. The life path number uses the full date in the common calendar, so two people born on the same weekday share a birth-day planet but can have different life path numbers.
This site keeps the two traditions in separate tools, and the results of one do not cancel the other. For numbers from a Thai name, use the name tool, which follows Thai numerology.
How to read a life path result
Read the life path number as a theme, then compare it with the name numbers if you entered a name. The numbers are traditional belief, not predictions.
